I am a board-approved supervisor in Minnesota for individuals on the LMFT and LPC/LPCC track.
I believe supervision is a unique and valuable part of the journey of becoming a therapist. I seek to provide a supervision experience that is both validating and supportive, adaptable to your individual needs and stage of development as a therapist. My style of supervision is relational; prioritizing the development and maintenance of safety in the supervision relationship and group that I lead so that you can feel comfortable bringing your genuine self and experiences to the room. I believe group supervision can be a dynamic and powerful experience creating the opportunity to learn not just from me, but from others in a similar stage of professional development.
I have experience working in community-based mental health and private practice settings. My specialties include trauma (trained in TF-CBT, EMDR, Child-Parent Psychotherapy), working with parents, utilizing play in therapy with children of all ages (on track to obtaining RPT), dyadic and relational parent-child work in therapy (trained in Theraplay, PCIT, and CPP), and utilizing knowledge of attachment and development in therapy with individuals of all ages.
